What Kind of Romantic Are You?

You Are A Realistic Romantic

It’s easy for you to get swept away by romance…
But you’ve done a pretty good job keeping perspective.
You’re still taken in by love poems and sunsets
You just don’t fall for every dreamy pick up line!

That was fun. I’m a romantic realist, apparently:

    You Are A Romantic Realist

You tend to be grounded when it comes to romance.
Sure, you can fall hard… but only for someone you’ve gotten to know.
And once you’re in love, you can be a total romantic goofball…
But you’d never admit it to your friends!

They must be wrong about that last bit, since I’m posting the result here! ;-)

LOL. Laura, yours is the flip side of my reading. At least we both have our feet on the ground, well sort of on the ground…

    I’m also a romantic realist.

I would probably make snoring sounds if a guy read me a love poem, but the rest is probably true.

LOL. I can see you now snoring during the love poem. I’d probably start giggling if a guy read me a love poem. But if he wrote me one and sent it in a letter, well… Then I’d show all my girlfriends and brag about the poem my man wrote me. :-)

I’m a realistic romantic :) It’s accurate. I’m a romantic but I’ve lived long enough to keep it real too…lol

I’ve always been a realist when it came to romance. I now know that love is fleeting, but true romance or true love in the Agape way is what we should all be striving for. I’ve loved and lost and have had some of my greatest moments trying to emulate Romeo, Cassanova, Don Juan, Rudolph Valentino, Adonis and ‘em…but the one thing that has always gotten me over was being a gentleman and a respecter of women. I still marvel at how resilient I am when it comes to treating women like that are used to be treated, and walk away with much more than bed and board!

Give me a sensory sunrise and a sanguine sunset and someone to share it with and I will truly shame a reluctant lover.

I love that, Alvin! At the end of the day this is saying it all! :-)

Angelia, incurable is okay in this case, at least I think so! ;-)

Hey Don, as far as I’m concerned a realistic romantic or a romantic realist is the best combination to be. LOL.
